As a result of major efforts coordinated by Paraguay’s embassy in Switzerland, its National Service for Animal Quality and Health (SENACSA), and the Paraguayan Rural Association, problematic issues related to the labeling of Paraguayan meat have been resolved, meaning it can now be sold anywhere in Switzerland (link in Spanish).
Paraguay’s Ministry of Foreign Relations has reported that the embassy also worked together with Swiss Global Enterprise, one of the largest meat-importing companies in Switzerland. He added that the company is also interested in purchasing poultry products.
